During the 18th and 19th century Kristinehamn was equally important to the world economy as Wall Street in New York today. At that time the worldwide price of iron was set right here in Kristinehamn. For a few weeks the number of inhabitants in the city doubled and nightlife flourished. Join Mrs Nordenfeldt on a city walk back to this great era.The walk takes you round the central parts of Kristinehamn where there is still much evidence of the time when iron still much evidence of the time when iron was the main industry of the town.
